Soliciting for fundraising is a critical component to success in the non-profit world. Luckily, our company president, Kristine Schaffer, has an extensive background in doing so.

Soliciting for fundraising
Kristine Schaffer has spent more than two years of her life working as the Volunteer Program Director of Kristine’s Joy For Kids Founding Hope Fund. Nothing brings a bigger smile to her face than seeing the smile of someone going through an extremely rough time. Now, she brings that same passion for making others smile to her marketing company, along with first-hand knowledge of the world of fundraising.
Most ventures in life require help from others in order for goals to be reached, and there’s nothing wrong with that. Everybody can use a helping hand now and then. In fact, a large number of non-profit organizations depend on it. But it can get tricky at times.
The key to acquiring funds for your non-profit is to walk the line between being concise and being detailed as tightly as possible. The more information you provide to potential donors, the more likely they are to empathize with your cause, and thus, the more likely they are to donate. But at the same time, rambling on with an excessive amount of text can turn off a reader’s attention… including in cases where if the reader had understood your fundraising goal clearly in less time, he or she would have donated. So as is the case with most things in life, finding that balance is critical.
One of our goals as a marketing company with fundraising and non-profit experience is to help your small business or non-profit organization raise the funds it needs in order to achieve its goals and therefore bring a business dream to life. To learn more about how we can help you do so, all you have to do is help us get to know you better- reach out to us and start a conversation today!
Fundraising can make magic happen
The truth is that a successful fundraising campaign can make all the difference between someone’s dream being just a nice idea and a reality. Small business owners and non-profit organizations may have tight budgets for any of a number of completely valid reasons and simply cannot afford to front any more money to their cause- as badly as they may want to do so. That’s where donors come in.
As is the case with nearly everything in life, businesses work best with a full team behind the controls. That team includes individuals who keep the business afloat every bit as much as employees of the business, as without either set of team members pulling their weight, the business faces a risk of failure. There comes a time where everybody needs a helping hand in order to clear a hurdle or climb a mountain, and by providing any financial assistance you’re able to, you join that team of people who are working together to make a dream come true.
